Performance

This year, the Tundra will include a new 3.4-liter twin-turbocharged V6 engine with 409-horsepower and 479 pounds-feet of torque. This is in addition to the standard 5.7-liter V8 engine with 381-horsepower from previous years.

Design

The 2022 Toyota Tundra gets a full facelift this year. On the outside, you can expect to see a large front grille with a Toyota nameplate across the front. The front end is more boldly designed with new LED lights, an fender flares. Multiple wheel sizes are offered, as are off-road enhanced design cues on TRD Pro models. Inside the cabin, you can enjoy spacious seating for five passengers. This year, you can opt for a panoramic sunroof with a sliding rear window.

Technology

This year, you can expect to see an available 12-inch touchscreen display. All models will continue to come with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility built-in. You can also opt for a wireless phone charger so you don't have to worry about the clutter of wires.

Safety

From previous model years, we know that all models will come with the Toyota Safety Sense P driving aids. These include adaptive cruise control, automatic emergency braking, lane departure warning, automatic high beams, and more.
